In October 2008, Michael's parents became great-grandparents as his brother's daughter Carolyn gave birth to Lilly: a beautiful little girl. Carolyn had a boy in January 2010. (right) Baby's first gift? We bought this cute Panda in Chengdu, and sent it to Carolyn in the summer of 2008. I remember giving Carolyn a panda on my first visit home from China, back in 1986, so we wanted to do the same for baby Lilly!
In May 2009, Michael's sister and her husband visited us in Kunming!	Vivian made a quick trip to the US in February 2010 to spend time with her mom, our daughter, and other relatives. This is a rare photo since (because of the distances) Vivian is not often able to see her sister, brother and mother at the same time. Her brother also passed away in December 2010, making this one of the last times they spent together.
