News & Internet: Google news page Google Search Google Translate Yahoo Home MSN news Xinhua news and China Daily: English-language news from a Chinese perspective. (Primary sources of English news, because they are never blocked!) China Today (www.chinatoday.com) is a huge site, with links to a wealth of articles about China from news outlets all over the English-speaking world, as well as lots of other information. It also has a large "Who's who" section, so you can find out about some of China's most important people. US audio headlines CT Magazine (click "news headlines" at the bottom of the linked page) World time clock and converter (www.timeanddate.com) Free computer tune up from Microsoft. Launch Windows Explorer, and go to http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm Click on "Full Service Scan." It may take a few hours (at least in China), but it does lots of cool things to keep your XP-based computer in good condition. They recommend doing this once a month. Do you like movies?
